Papa Murphy’s plans to list on bourse

Pizza franchise Papa Murphy’s Holdings has filed for an initial public offering (IPO). The company will list on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol FRSH.
The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined, Papa Murphy’s said in a press release.
The company did not disclose how it would use the proceeds.
Papa Murphy’s makes pizzas fresh in front of clients in 1,400 restaurants across North America and the United Arab Emirates, the majority of which are franchise-operated. More than half of Papa Murphy’s franchisees own more than one unit.
The take-n-bake business concept was created in 1981 and began franchising just a year later. Customers choose their favorite pizza flavor and take it home for the whole family to spend time together baking and eating it.
